Just thought I'd make this concept art for LOCKDOWN. It's the main character's hand... if you didn't quite clue in. Pretty good, huh!

I've been doing quite a bit of brain storming for this new game I'd like to make called LOCKDOWN. It's a 2D platformer and think if I got the right people behind it, it could turn out really well. So if your interested listen up...

You play as a cloned, human-like, experiment. You start off in an underground test facility where you, the free running experiment, must escape. Here's the cool part... since you play as a clone, when you die, instead of restarting the level as the same guy, you get "reborn" as a new clone. Some of the puzzle elements in the game may force you to die as one clone and come back as another to complete the puzzle. There won't be a lot of combat, more laser dodging, puzzle solving and crazy acrobatic stuff.

So I've been working on "The Snail That Could Fly" lately and I think it's going great. I've also wanted to make a website but don't have the time or experience to do so. So here's my idea...

It's gonna be called "myhappyplace.com" (if the name isn't taken). And it's gonna kinda be a website where we (the creators) find games, animations, pictures, youtube clips, or whatever we think is awesome and put it on the site. Visitors can email us links to stuff they think is cool, and if we like it, it'll go on the site. Easy as pie. But, like I said earlier, I'm not an expert in this field and need YOUR help!

Requirements:

- Experience with website building
- Experience with flash
- Have a good sense of humor
- Think the Dark Knight is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!1111
- Fairly artistic

I've been trying real hard on the full length version of "The Snail That Could Fly" but it's taking longer than I thought. I'll have to extend the projects due date to the end of March. Hopefully I'll get it done by then. I'm trying to make it as high quality as possible, and it's tough for just one guy. Slow 'n steady wins the race, sorta. But I've also come up with the idea of making sequels to it as a kind of spin-off chain reaction of events that the Snail causes when on his journey.

Most of you viewing this post have probably seen "The Snail That Could Fly" animated short. Just recently I got the idea of making it into a full length flash cartoon!
