YESSSSSSssss... thank you jesus!

Thank you God!!!!!

Lame...

To me, this is just some lame attempt at a flash game. Music is annoying, game play is boring, and art style is dull and lifeless. Just a mediocre experience overall.

I agree.

Ingenius

This is a really cool and awkwardly amusing "personality quiz". You have a smart sense of humor my friend. I repeated the test a couple of times, responding to your questions differently each time only to learn that some questions ("Are you single?") proved to be funny and clever no matter how you answered. You should really think about creating different types of games with this kind of intelligent humor. Oh, and I got a score of 2 the first time I played this game... I certainly hope that these numbers are just randomly generated or that the quiz is scored like a game of golf. Anyway, great game, very amusing, fun to show to your friends. Awesome.

K-Guare responds:

Ingenious? Don't know about that, now. aha.

Thanks a lot Mr. Perry-Winkle,
I'm glad you enjoyed it. :]
I am actually planning on making more
MindFeed-similar kinds of games,
but I'm not too sure when the next will be out.

Just twiddle your thumbs or something until then.
Thanks for the review!

very misleading...

The interface, music, and even the name "Path" kinda lead me towards thinking that this game would be some kind of survival horror game. Boy was I sadly mistaken. This really disappointed me when I found out that it was merely just another one of those mouse avoider games. But all-in-all, the game kinda sucked. It's not hard, it's not long (no cock joke intended) and it's not fun. Everybody's played this type of game before, and I personally think that this is just another one to add to the pile. Nice try though...

cool...

It's neat to see a network speed tester created with flash. Could've looked a little cooler though, with a spiffier appearance. Nice work though.

andy70707 responds:

thanks, I probably would have spent longer on the graphics and stuff, but I uploaded this in a hurry.

it's okay...

I've just read that this was your first game... that's pretty impressive. But I've gotta be honest, the music drove me nuts. I turned the volume right down after I realized it was some crappy techno song that everybody's heard a billion times before.

But the game itself was okay. We've all played this kind of game before, this was just another to add to the long list. Your a flying ball dodging other flying balls... nothing we haven't seen before.

It's kinda cool to see the different patterns that the balls fly in as you advance through the levels. Normally the game just gets faster and faster. So that's a nice twist. Graphics... meh. They get the job done.

I think the game really deserves a 6/10 just because everybody's played this type of game before, and this doesn't really bring anything outstanding to the table. But I'll give you a 7 because it's your first game. Nice job.

CrazyEgg responds:

Thanks. I understand that its not origional at all, but for my first game I just wanted to try and make something simple to expand my knowledge. My next game will be much more origional.

You cant lose!

At first the game seems interesting enough, a mix between Chain Reaction and Ignite People On Fire. But when ever the reaction happens to stop, you can just click another person and resume... there is no real challenge to the game because of this, which is such a shame because I really love Bubble Box and these chain reaction games. Too bad.

asagoPAN responds:

I think you should play it again. After level 7 there are point objectives you must complete to continue. The first 7 levels are just to learn how to play so they're supposed to be very easy.

I think my brain exploded

Very cool game... if you can call it a game. It really felt like my kind of game at first but the lack of instructions made it hard to catch on. I wish you could have showed us some basic patterns that did different things and leave the more complex stuff for us to figure out.

Also, the music drove me crazy. I don't know how else to explain it other than a comparison to tetris. Tetris is a puzzle game that really need a make over since the very beginning. After several years, the game became a flashy light show that made you feel special for clearing out a line.

I think this game deserves a makeover aswell. You could throw in some crazy particle effects so different reactions show different light effects. Also, the music drove me crazy. All in all, the game has great potential but didn't have the looks that it could've had. Great start, can't wait for the next one!

squidsquid responds:

Glad you enjoyed it, I think you raise a good point about the instructions, if I make a sequel I'm going to try to spell out the rules a little more explicitly and use examples. I don't agree with your tetris comparison at all - tetris was a great game right from the start and the so called makeovers have just added a bit of eye-candy but not really altered the fundamental game, which is by far the most important part. I also think particle effects etc would be completely unnecessary in this game and probably even detract from the observation of the amazing patterns and pattern evolution which is the main attraction.

Its always the case that some people like whatever music you choose while others don't, there is a mute button on the game screen if you don't like it.

I like cartooning, animating, I have an oddball sense of humor, and I enjoy long walks on the beach.
